    DIAGRAM

    This diagram indicates how i-PayOnline handles the payment components of online purchasing.

    Step 1
    The buyer purchases an item at an online store or portal by means of a credit card or purchasing card.

    Step 2
    The web application submits a request for authorisation via i-PayOnline to the acquiring bank. Line Item Details (LID) are submitted if a purchasing card is used.

    Step 3
    An order is submitted to the supplier.

    Step 4
    The supplier ships the goods.

    Step 5
    The supplier requests payment through the i-PayOnline transaction management interface.
